Gerwin is the youngest son of Konrad, the first legendary dragon slayer, and is the youngest of the four siblings. The artifact which he "carried" is the phoenix feather, likely because of this gift, Gerwin is cursed to once he reaches a certain age, spontaneously combust, and be reborn as an infant, loosing all of his memory each time, however he does retain some skills, for instance soccer, general school things, the ability to speak english, and of course, fighting dragons.

Return of the Dragon Slayers

Kendra attempts to return Gerwins memory of his past lives in order to get him to help defeat Celebrant. She at first tries mentioning his real name, his past lives, his family and his purpose, however when this doesn't work, Kendra tries kidnapping him and taking him to Selona in order to try jogging his memory, however he remembers his true nature after Jeruwut attacks him and Kendra. Following that, on the back of Glory, he killed his first dragon of that lifetime, Jeruwut.
